A Lost Fawn

These are some pictures of a lost fawn, found wandering on it's own in the bush. Possibly the mother was killed or may have abandoned the fawn being unable to nurse it. In cases like this it is best to leave the fawn alone as it's mother may come back. Sometimes the mother will leave her fawn for several hours while she goes off to feed. At this early age, the fawn has no scent to attract predators, I was hoping this was the case here. So I left the fawn where it was but not without taking the opportunity to take a few pictures first.
